Women artisans in India handloom each mat using GOTS-certified organic cotton and plant dyes using an ancient Ayurvedic technique that preserves the plant’s medicinal qualities. They intentionally use skin soothing and stress-reducing natural herbs like turmeric, holy basil, and neem. Their process is entirely free of chemicals, heavy metals, BPA, PVC, and phthalates, resulting in an eco-friendly, 100% biodegradable mat. Öko Living provides their artisan makers with fair wages and safe working conditions close to home. All their products ship in zero plastic packaging.
