Middle Kingdom creates imperial caliber Chinese porcelain dinnerware and vases. Inspired by a long and distinguished history of design and craftsmanship, artisans in the ancient kiln city of Jingdezhen thoughtfully handcraft each piece. Jingdezhen, a major kiln site in the 11th century, supplied the Chinese Emporer and court with high-quality porcelain. Middle Kingdom’s studio and manufacturing facility is just down the street from some of the city’s original imperial kilns. With a wide assortment of incredibly designed products, Middle Kingdom successfully infused a modern aesthetic into an age-old art form, beginning a new chapter for Chinese porcelain. Each Middle Kingdom artisan begins as an apprentice — ensuring the high quality standards that the art form commands. Middle Kingdom only uses the finest clays, glazes, and colors in their sustainably made porcelain dinnerware and vases. Middle Kingdom is a Women-owned and POC owned company who pays all their artisans well-above-average salaries for their craft.
