The Chennai Dress is a cotton shirt dress that keeps things effortless with its throw on and go style that hits above the knee. Featuring a subtly asymmetrical neckline, side pockets, and a one-of-a-kind hand block printed checkered square pattern, this shift dress is as classic as it is cool.

This textile has been printed by hand using traditional techniques, and we celebrate the uniqueness, integrity and character of handmade pieces. Please allow for variations in pattern and color including shifts in alignment, stray ink, and other nuances that may be different than pictured.

Care: The best option for all Mata pieces is to hand wash in cold water to preserve the fabrics for years. The next best and most common option is to wash on a gentle cycle in cold water with a gentle detergent (no fabric softener). Hang or line dry only.
