The Standard Stitch’s collection of size-inclusive, sustainable wardrobe staples was created with the mission to make clothes that are as gentle on the earth as they are on your body. They aim to change the wasteful, polluting, and harmful practices that are common in the fashion industry by taking a slow fashion approach that considers the environment, people, longevity of wear, and recyclability. Their basics and loungewear are made with organic cotton and designed with classic silhouettes and season-less styles for long term, versatile wear. Each garment is ethically made in Los Angeles by partners adhering to their strict Vendor Code of Ethics. By keeping production close by (10.3 miles to be exact) and traceable, they reduce the carbon footprint of their garments early on. With a goal of circularity, The Standard Stitch uses biodegradable, compostable, recycled and recyclable material to avoid waste.
