The Katha blanket is an organic cotton throw masterfully hand-embroidered by a unique group of artisan women in India. The fringes are neatly hand-rolled. Each piece is extremely unique due to its handmade nature. It takes a few weeks to complete a single banket. The Katha throw luxuriously combines heritage values with high-quality craftsmanship.
Care: Dry clean or hand wash with cold water and gentle detergents, hang to dry.

Exchanges and returns for store credit are free for your first request on all eligible items. Returns for a refund are subject to a $7.95 fee for return shipping and handling. Final sale items* are not eligible for return. Please initiate your return/exchange within 30 days of order fulfillment. All returns and exchanges must be unworn, unwashed, unused, and in original condition with tags to be eligible for return. Refunds or exchanges will not be processed for returned items that have been used or show signs of visible wear.

Based out of Detroit, Michigan, Studio Variously works directly with master artisans across India and Nepal to create a design collaboration one custom piece at a time. Their masterfully crafted handmade scarves, rugs, blankets, and pillows feature unique patterns using certified Eco Swiss dyes. Driven by concepts, rather than short-lived trends, 80% of Studio Variously’s artisans between the US, India & Nepal are women. Since their inception, they've employed 12 to 15 master artisans who are 3rd and 4th generation weavers, dyers, and printers. Studio Variously only uses premium quality, natural yarns in their exquisite textiles. All ethically sourced, the yarn used in their functional throw blankets and handmade scarves originates from countries including India, Nepal, Australia, and Belgium. Their dyes are eco-friendly and sourced from plants whenever possible to promote the conservation of water. All of Studio Variously’s artisan partners receive living wages. Their team sources raw materials from small farmers wherever possible to support a sustainable supply chain.
