Made just for you in 1 week

• 15 x 72 inches
• 100% handwoven linen
 Dyed with plant pigments
• Handwoven in India
• Hand-dyed in New York

Individually hand-dyed with natural plant pigments, herbs, and compost flowers. Each piece is unique and has its own story. Fringed edge with a minimalist gold stitch detail at the edges. Entirely a hand-crafted piece; subtle irregularities are to be celebrated. The plant dyed table runners are inspired and infused with botanical colors from flowers, roots, vegetables etc. ensuring zero waste.

Care: Gentle hand-wash using a pH neutral soap in cold water. Dr. Bronner's castile soap is great and recommended. Hang to dry. Some colors may shift or fade over time, especially if exposed to the sun for long periods of time. Keep your piece in a cool place and in shade for their longevity.

Soil to Studio uses time-honored techniques like handloom weaving, block-printing, natural dyeing, and hand embroidering to slow make table linens, pillows, wall art, rugs, and scarves in intentional, small batches. Each piece is made by artisans in rural villages and communities in India from natural fibers like wool, organic cotton, Indian linen, and silk. Founder Swati Bansal was born and raised in the small town of Udaipur in Rajasthan, India, where her upbringing fostered a strong appreciation for slow made textiles and handmade techniques. Soil to Studio’s mission is to empower artisans and their families, preserve local craftsmanship techniques, and to create sustainable livelihoods for their artisans. Soil to Studio follows fair trade practices and asks artisans to set their own prices for the pieces they make. Soil to Studio is also committed to sustainability by using low energy manufacturing techniques, utilizing solar power, rainwater collection and the reuse of post-production scraps. Soil to Studio is a POC-owned and women-owned brand.
