The Mochila Arhuaco from Hope Made in the World is an admired artisan bag made by the Arhuaco people from Colombia. This bag is very practical for everyday use as it is very spacious, durable, and resistant to all types of weather.  It is made from 100% virgin wool and can last up to 100 years.

The Arhuaco reservation inhabits the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, a ridge that is located in northern Colombia. This specific bag was crafted in the Cesar region, by a women's co-op whose aim is to keep the tradition alive for generations to come.

Weaver: Aura Montero. Award-winning master craftswoman. She was granted the Gold Medal of Honor by Artesanias de Colombia.
