Cast Iron Dutch Oven$300
The 5 Qt. Dutch Oven delivers FINEX’s famed better-looking, better-cooking and good-forever performance in a classic five quart size. Each Dutch Oven is handcrafted by a small team of artisans in Portland, OR. Heavyweight construction ensures even-cooking heat retention and distribution on any stove top, oven or over-the-coals cooking scenario. Octagonal shape offers spouts that pour easily yet are completely covered by the included lid. Dual stainless steel “Speed Cool” spring handles make it easy to bring to the table.
Two Spring Handles: Wound from 300 series stainless steel rod stock and hand polished to high luster, the handles stay cool longer, cool off quicker and feel better in the hand. Inspired by vintage wood stove door handles, they bring high-end fit and finish to a time honored design.
Polished surface: Stone polished in a proprietary two stage process to deliver an easy cleaning and durably seasoned cooking surface that acknowledges and refines the iron’s sand-cast origin.
Pour spouts: Eight rounded corners serve as pour spouts that seal up tight or offer evenly spaced steam vents when the matching lid is rotated offset to the skillet.
Pre-seasoning: Ready to cook right out of the box, each FINEX Dutch Oven comes doubly pre-seasoned with 100% organic flaxseed oil to a non-stick, rust resistant bronze finish that will patina, darken and continue to improve as you cook.
Heavy gauge cast iron: Thick cast iron base and sides store and distribute heat, evening out hot spots and delivering consistent cooking temperatures for the long haul.
FINEX is an American cast iron cookware company based in Portland, Oregon. Their mission is both simple and incredibly challenging: to build a better cast iron skillet that will stand the test of time. FINEX pays homage to the best attributes of vintage cast iron cookware: machine-smoothed cooking surfaces, flaxseed oil pre-seasoning and stone-tumble polishing. All FINEX cookware blends together vintage cast iron inspiration with modern functional design elements that deliver the best cooking experience and performance. Using temperatures exceeding 2,000 degrees, FINEX carefully melts quality sourced iron from North America for each of their exemplary products. All FINEX cookware takes longer to produce that traditional cast iron cookware, as each piece is handmade by six craftspeople — taking more than 12 hours from beginning to end. Every FINEX piece is polished, tumbled, pre-seasoned and assembled completely by hand in Portland, Oregon.
