This modern Moroccan pendant light is a harmonious marriage between traditional craftsmanship and modern design.

The negative space directs all focus to the elaborate design seen at the base of this exquisite pendant lamp. Nur Reversed casts brilliant shadows, making a perfect addition to dining and living spaces. The intricate darj w ktef design is based on 12th century almohad tile work.

The lamps come fully assembled, professional installation is required for hardwired pendants. If you have requested a pendant with a plug, no installation is needed.

Founder, designer Dounia Tamri-Loeper, was born and raised in Morocco and was influenced from an early age by Morocco's rich culture and artistic aesthetic. Dounia Home’s beautifully designed home products help to preserve Morocco's heritage craft of metal work, made relevant for the modern consumer.

Dounia Home works exclusively with Moroccan artisans who use traditional metalworking techniques passed down through generations. Each Dounia Home piece is hand-etched, hand-polished and hand-sealed to achieve the highest quality in their products. All artisans employed by Dounia Home are paid on average 30% higher wages because Dounia Home products are Direct Trade. Artisans also set their own price for the pieces they create. Dounia Home is committed to sourcing, developing, and making all their products in Morocco. Each piece is made with natural minerals mined in Morocco and their team employs zero waste standards for the solid brass, copper, and nickel silver metal their products are forged from.

Fair Trade
Our Fair Trade international brand partners work with makers and artisans outside the US and are committed to paying living wages, providing safe and healthy working conditions, sourcing materials local to their region wherever possible, and implementing eco-friendly practices across their manufacturing processes.
Heritage
Heritage products draw from age-old techniques, traditions or art forms that are in decline or in danger of being lost forever. Made Trade curates these heritage products from around the world to support artisans creating these traditional crafts, to share their cultural heritage with the world and do our part to preserve these centuries-old techniques.
Vegan
Vegan products on Made Trade contain no animal products or byproducts. We curate vegan brands who source natural materials as sustainably as possible, do not use polyurethane or other synthetic faux leather materials (instead use plant-based faux leathers, such as Piñatex or mushroom leather) and implement fair business practices with their suppliers and their employees.
