Dounia Home works exclusively with Moroccan artisans who use traditional metalworking techniques passed down through generations. Each Dounia Home piece is hand-etched, hand-polished and hand-sealed to achieve the highest quality in their products. All artisans employed by Dounia Home are paid on average 30% higher wages because Dounia Home products are Direct Trade. Artisans also set their own price for the pieces they create. Dounia Home is committed to sourcing, developing, and making all their products in Morocco. Each piece is made with natural minerals mined in Morocco and their team employs zero waste standards for the solid brass, copper, and nickel silver metal their products are forged from.
