Comfortable, beautiful, sustainable, and timeless. These are the values of the incredible shoe brand Coclico. Coclico’s founder Sandra Canselier descends from a long line of French shoemakers and sources materials locally in Europe, near the small, family-run factory in Mallorca, Spain where every pair of Coclico shoes is handmade. Coclico also sources leather from tanneries that comply with rigorous standards of both beauty and sustainability. Each pair of shoes is constructed using recycled and renewable components such as cork and natural woods.

Coclico adheres to the highest standards of ethical and environmental responsibility and is completely carbon neutral, purchasing carbon credits each year to offset their carbon emissions. Slow and responsible fashion is at the heart of Coclico’s brand -- making only enough shoes to fulfill demand. Each artisan shoemaker handcrafting Coclico’s shoes are paid a living wage and as a result, their artisans take great pride in and ensure the consistent quality of each pair of these exceptional shoes.

Fair Trade
Our Fair Trade international brand partners work with makers and artisans outside the US and are committed to paying living wages, providing safe and healthy working conditions, sourcing materials local to their region wherever possible, and implementing eco-friendly practices across their manufacturing processes.
Heritage
Heritage products draw from age-old techniques, traditions or art forms that are in decline or in danger of being lost forever. Made Trade curates these heritage products from around the world to support artisans creating these traditional crafts, to share their cultural heritage with the world and do our part to preserve these centuries-old techniques.
Sustainable
Our sustainable brand partners are committed to responsible sourcing and intentional design that creates minimal negative environmental impact. Some of their methods may include sustainably harvesting raw materials, upcycling/recycling used materials (such as plastic or dead stock fabrics), or using all natural, earth-friendly materials (such as plant and mineral-based dyes).
