This Marea Lago Blanket evokes the soothing feeling of sitting lakeside on a dock feet dangling after a warm day spent exploring outdoors. A deep forest green paired with the bright sky blue and golden yellow bring together the classic and comforting colors of nature.

Your new blanket comes rolled up with a handmade leather strap, making it ready for any adventure. Creating a calming collection of colors perfect for inside or out. They are big enough for a 2-4 person picnic and roll up in thirds for easy transport. Caminito's original blanket designs are created at their home base in the Bay Area and hand woven in Mexico by skilled artisans. The leather straps are hand-made using vegetable tanned leather that ages nicely with use.

Care: Blankets are machine washable on cold gentle cycle, lay flat to dry.

For the 2023 holiday season, you can exchange or return your gift for store credit until January 15, 2024. Returns for a refund should be initiated within 30 days of order fulfillment.

Exchanges and returns for store credit are free for your first request of any eligible* item. Returns for a refund, and subsequent exchange and return requests are subject to a $7.95 fee for shipping and handling. You must initiate your return/exchange within 30 days of order fulfillment. Discounted and sale items that are not marked final sale up to 40% off are eligible for exchange or store credit within 30 days.

All returns and exchanges must be unworn, unwashed, unused, and in original condition with tags to be eligible for return. Made Trade does not take responsibility for lost or stolen packages once they are marked as delivered by the shipping carrier.

Meet the maker Caminito

A blend of Californian style and Mexican heritage makes Caminito’s incredible line of blankets and accessories what it is. California-based Mother and daughter team, Elizabeth and Liz, who themselves are Mexican, collaborate with traditionally trained weavers in central Mexico to create Caminito’s traditional Mexican blankets with modern vibrant colors. Caminito's handmade blankets consist of upcycled yarn derived from remnants from the clothing manufacturing process. Each Caminito blanket is handwoven in Central Mexico. Caminito's baskets are handwoven with biodegradable, naturally dried palm leaves. Caminito is a women-owned company and all makers and artisans receive fair wages and work in clean, safe work environments.
