These Baabushka wool slippers features built-in arch support with rubber soles for enhanced grip indoors and out. Paired with extra layers of felt, these cushiony booties provide relief for those days full of standing and walking. The slipper style is designed to conform to the contours of your foot and rests below your ankle, ensuring a comfortable fit that you can easily slip off and on.
Baabushka's footwear is handmade by artisans living in the beautiful Kathmandu Valley of Nepal. Using sheep’s wool, water, and organic soap, artisans use traditional felt crafting techniques handed down through generations. The result is soft yet durable footwear. The felted wool is gentle on your feet —naturally insulating, yet allowing your skin to breathe— so you can enjoy wearing your Baabushka footwear year-round.

Please note as handmade items using natural materials, each pair of booties can come with subtle variations.
Care: Spot-clean the surface by hand with a damp cloth and allow them to air-dry in indirect light. Soaking the slippers, placing them in a washing machine or heated drying can cause the wool to shrink.

Exchanges and returns for store credit are free for your first request on all eligible items. Returns for a refund are subject to a $7.95 fee for return shipping and handling. Final sale items* are not eligible for return. Please initiate your return/exchange within 30 days of order fulfillment. All returns and exchanges must be unworn, unwashed, unused, and in original condition with tags to be eligible for return. Refunds or exchanges will not be processed for returned items that have been used or show signs of visible wear.

Their wool suppliers implement humane farming practices during shearing, resulting in an ethical, ultra-soft, and renewable fiber that naturally regulates the temperature of your feet. Committed to implementing fair trade practices and fair trade employment, Baabushka supports Nepali women makers with high-paying wages. Their artisan partners craft each pair of Baabushka slippers and booties by hand using traditional wool felting techniques, and it takes half a day to make just one pair. For every purchase, Baabushka donates a portion of the total sale to Global Citizen, a non-profit organization that works to end extreme poverty around the world.
