This flat weave, handwoven rug is made in Teotitlán del Valle, a small rug-making town about 40 minutes outside of Oaxaca City, where techniques, foot looms, and the passion for rug-making has been passed down through generations. Each rug is made one by one, woven row by row, with hand-dyed locally grown wool.

Exchanges and returns for store credit are free for your first request on all eligible items. Returns for a refund are subject to a $7.95 fee for return shipping and handling. Final sale items* are not eligible for return. Please initiate your return/exchange within 30 days of order fulfillment. All returns and exchanges must be unworn, unwashed, unused, and in original condition with tags to be eligible for return. Refunds or exchanges will not be processed for returned items that have been used or show signs of visible wear.

Celebrate heritage techniques with Archive New York's vibrant, colorful, and sustainable home decor pieces, from pillows and blankets to wool rugs and towels. Their team works exclusively with artisan weavers in Mexico, Guatemala, and India to help preserve fragile art forms. Archive New York uses locally sourced fibers and natural dyes to make their sustainable home decor pieces wherever possible. Their artisans use traditional backstrap looms and foot looms, and incorporate slow and ethical production practices. All their artisans receive living wages through either direct trade or certified Fair Trade groups. Archive New York is a women-owned company based in Los Angeles, California.
