Wolf and Rove Root to Rise Earrings

Hand-stitched from Japanese seed beads and suspended from Sterling Silver ear wires, the Root to Rise Earrings embrace the light, the dark and shades between.

Due to the organic nature of hand-stitched beading, subtle variations are to be expected and enhance the uniqueness of each piece.

Wolf + Rove celebrates the ancient process of hand-stitching by fusing ritual and handmade objects into wearable pieces of art. All of Wolf + Rove’s earrings and necklaces are constructed of hand-stitched Japanese seed beads and hand-drawn rawhide.

Each piece is designed, constructed, made, and touched by only one person, Heidi Helling, at her home studio in Hatcher Pass, Alaska. Heidi sources all her materials by locally purchasing from local Alaska businesses to create her stunning pieces. All of Wolf + Rove’s pieces are constructed of natural materials without the use of toxic chemicals or processes. The result is an exceptionally crafted statement piece that fosters a care and appreciation for the larger world and our place in it.

Our sustainable brand partners are committed to responsible sourcing and intentional design that creates minimal negative environmental impact. Some of their methods may include sustainably harvesting raw materials, upcycling/recycling used materials (such as plastic or dead stock fabrics), or using all natural, earth-friendly materials (such as plant and mineral-based dyes).
USA Made
At Made Trade it's not enough for a product to just be "USA made" it must also adhere to responsible sourcing of materials used and fair treatment of the person who created it. We curate USA made brands who: pay fair, living wages to their makers, provide safe and healthy working conditions, source materials locally wherever possible, prioritize sustainable growth for their business, and implement eco-friendly practices.
Vegan products on Made Trade contain no animal products or byproducts. We curate vegan brands who source natural materials as sustainably as possible, do not use polyurethane or other synthetic faux leather materials (instead use plant-based faux leathers, such as Piñatex or mushroom leather) and implement fair business practices with their suppliers and their employees.
