These slippers are crafted by hand using felting techniques that are centuries old. Durable leather soles, ample arch support, and cozy felted wool make these house shoes the ultimate hygge accessory to treat your feet to after a long day.

Care: Wool felt wicks moisture and resists odor. If you need to clean your slippers, spot or dry clean. Avoid getting wet, as they will shrink and become misshapen.

At home or at the office, Kyrgies slippers have you covered every season of the year. These super hygge wool slippers are slow made with centuries-old heritage techniques by the best wool felters in the world — women artisans in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. All of the artisans are paid a living wage in their women-run factory. Each pair of Kyrgies is constructed from wet felted wool that keeps your feet the perfect temperature year-round, is odor resistant, breathable and exceptionally durable. The sheep who provide the wool live in open pastures from spring to autumn and move to the yards of Kyrgyz villagers during the winter months. Raw wool is sheered from the sheep and brought to the Kyrgies factory, where it is cleaned, combed, dyed (with food coloring) and weighed for each individual pair of Kyrgies. The wool is then pressed together using the centuries-old technique with only water and natural soap and then rolled by hand into forms drying into a firm but pliable shape. The entire process takes six weeks from raw wool to shoe. Kyrgies uses all-natural, vegetable-tanned leather that is tanned without chrome or chromium in their leather-soled shoes.

All eligible full price items* purchased between November 1st and December 31st are able to be exchanged or returned for store credit until January 15, 2021. This means you’ll have until January 15, 2021 to contact our customer support team to initiate an exchange or a return for store credit.

Products must be in original, unused condition and with tags. Refunds to the original method of payment are not covered under this extension and are still subject to the 15-day return policy outlined in our 100% Satisfaction Guarantee below.
